What does HBN not protect?
Know the boundaries: shipping, non-standard line types, and out-of-system price rewrites are not covered.

HBN validates the final unit price of standard product and variant lines after Shopify applies discounts. It does not:
- Count or limit shipping discounts — only product line discounts are evaluated.
- Validate non-standard line types beyond standard products/variants.
- See price changes made by apps that rewrite prices outside Shopify's discount system (e.g. cart transforms) — those are treated as the regular price.
- Collect cart or buyer data, or provide a real-time log of blocked checkouts. Enforcement happens in Shopify's hosted checkout; the app intentionally does not record interception events.
- Know your shipping, payment, advertising, return, or operating costs — do not describe the rules as profit protection.
